Blog Topic Essay

    I’ve though about what to pick as my blog topic for a long time now, a few days, actually, and I keep coming to the same conclusion: I can’t think of anything specific, really. As I’ve said before I have a Tumblr of my own and on that page I pretty much just post whatever fancies my interest. It’s a melting pot of whatever I like and find cool.
    For this blog I think I’ll do a broad topic: music. More specifically, but none the less broad, bands that I like and listen to almost faithfully. When I say faithfully, I mean it. The majority of the bands that I’ll be posting about have a significant importance to me.
    Honestly, I’ve been wanting to blog about this for a long time but I’ve been too lazy to actually do it. It’s like I’ll think of things that I want to say in my head but when it comes to typing it out I’ll be too lazy and go back to reblogging pictures on Tumblr. Seeing as this will be graded and such it’ll give me a reason and motivation to get it done.
    As for the criteria, this topic fits it perfectly. I am extremely interested in music and the bands I listen to. It’s kinda crazy. For the ongoing availability of information that would be easy. I’ll be posting things like my opinion on things like music videos, songs, albums, photo shoots, etc. I’ll talk about tour dates, facts about the band and its members, along with if I end up going to a show I’ll post about that. This blog will majority be opinion- based. I hope that isn’t a problem.
    The point I’m trying to make with this essay is that my topic is going to be about the music I like. I know that a lot of people don’t listen to the music I’m into and even if they do they won’t like the bands I like. That doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t have an exact picture of what it’s going to look like but I guess that’s a good thing. I kinda like winging things.
