All Time Low Tosh.O Portland Me 11/17/11

This is something silly All Time Low made the crowd do at the concert I was at (:

You Me At Six & The Swellers are coheadlining a tour with: Twin Atlantic, and We Are Ocean

They're only playing two shows. One is in Pittsburgh, PA on January 28th and the other is on January 30th in Worcester, MA. They've (YMAS as been my obsession for about two+ months now) and them being a UK band THEY NEVER REALLY COME TO THE US! and if they do it's for festivals (Like Warped or the AP Tour) and tours that never hit the northern east coast.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~
Madreeeeeeee!!! I'll have my permit and and and and tickets are only $10 when you get them in advance. (: Watcha say? You drive one way and I'll drive the other way(: and it's upstairs, too. You know how much I love the upstairs shows.
Nick left Get Scared
i feel like i did when Sandra left BVB. it's a weird emptiness, but who knows what will come of it. GS will probably get a new vocalist who is just as amazing as Nick and Nick will go off and do a solo project. I still think that it's all lexus's fault. Never really liked her.
Warped Tour
Warped Tour, for those who don't know, is a festival tour of sorts. 50+ bands, 7ish stages, 9ish hours of pure amazingness for people who listen to the music I do. Bands play at the same times as other bands so when you go you need to get a map and time list quickly and start prioritizing stat. Warped has been going on for about 16 years now and was created by Kevin Lyman.
I went last year (Warped '11) and it was pretty fun. I  wish I had gotten to see more of the bands I wanted to see instead of the ones my cousin dragged me to see, but that's besides the point. Depending on the lineup I may go and this time with Kierra. They start releasing the line up sometime in December and they'll do five bands a week until they finish and I can't wait! I'm getting very impatient because if it's a good line up I'll want to go.. and let me tell you something, I brought $75 dollars with me and I swear I spent 50 on watch ALONE. It was so hot out. I got sun poisoning and I used SPF 80 sunscreen. By 4PM all the ice in the coolers had melted and they were allowing you to dunk your head in the cooler for $1. So the moral to that story is that if the lineup is good I'll need to start saving money right away.
^^^ This the pit cam for the Warped date I went to.
The Rise and Fall of My Pants Tour: November 17, 2011 (Part Three)
All Time Low:
They made us wait for a half hour before they started playing. It was horrible! By now I just wanted to sit down because my feet hurt so much. I wouldn't leave my spot, though, I was so close to the stage and could see perfectly. There was this kid who looked a lot like Jeremiah (I have the feeling I'm spelling his name wrong) in front of me. When ATL came on you felt it. Everyone started screaming and pushing. Reminded me so much of the first concert I went to. They started playing and I just kept moving forward. Thankfully, it was mostly girls and wimpy "skater" guys there so I was able to push around a lot easier then I would have if it was mostly guys. I didn't want to loose Kierra so when I moved I'd look for her and want to pull her up but she didn't want to. Carly dissappeared for a little while and came back with a water.. Oh my gosh was it the most heavenly thing ever. Like 20 people asked for a sip and the water was gone in seconds. (It's common courtesy to let anyone who asks have a sip. If you're scared of germs don't bring it into the crowd.) Kierra crowd surfed and she looked so happy! During their last song, Dear Maria, they wanted someone to start a mosh pit. The "mosh pit" that was started had to be the weakest one I have ever seen. It was pretty much a bunch of guys jumping around and bouncing off of each other. During this time though, I was able to get literally two feet from the gate. It was lovely... until Jack jumped onto the gate and starting touching people. Everyone pushed forward and climbing on each other.
I was in the dead middle of that!! Oh my Max. I couldn't breathe or move. But I touched Jack like 20 times and that made up for it. You can't even see me I'm that short. It doesn't look as bad as it was.
Kierra looking very proud after catching a water bottle that Jordan from The Ready Set threw.
After the show we went home and I felt like passing out. I didn't even go to sleep when I got home because I knew if I did I wouldn't get up the next morning. That was my punishment for going to a weekday concert--- going to school the next day.
The Rise and Fall of My Pants Tour: November 17, 2011 (Part Two)
Paradise Fear:
They were clearly the first band playing. They were a supporting band and aren’t even getting paid. The only reason why they’re on the tour is because the last All Time Low tour they followed the band around going up and down the line having people listen to their music.
They did a killer job. Sam, the vocalist, was all over the play. Jumping around and acting all crazy. It was hard to get a picture of him while on stage. The keyboardist was another member we met before & after the show. He was really into it- totally rocking out over in his little corner. HE WAS SO TALL! Oh my Max. I got a picture with him and I said "I feel so short" and he said "Well I'm also bending over" WELL THAT MAKES ME FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF!! Regardless, both of them were super nice and they signed my Ipod. One of the guitarist, Jordan, was the funniest thing alive on stage. He was dancing and being all goofy. You had to be there. They covered Stacy's Mom and a little bit of Super Bass. During a slow song Jordan and Cole started slow dancing together. (:
Sam & Kierra.
The keyboardist, Michel, & me. I look horrible but I was trying to hold in my outbreak of "Well that helps!" and not laugh either.
The Ready Set:
I'm not the biggest fan of The Ready Set mostly because he uses too much Autotune. I don't know why though. His voice was so great live! I don't think I've ever jumped so much during a show. Ever. My favorite song of the night was "Young Forever" and I had it stuck in my head all Friday. Surprisingly I knew the lyrics to most of the songs. Except I thought it was "follow the leader" but it turns out it's "follow the freeway" in the song More Then Alive. I met him after the show, too. I didn't recognize him though. His hair was wavy, not straight like I'm using to seeing it, and it was really dark. I got two pictures with him and he signed by Ipod as well. (:
Carly & Jordan. He's so tan!
I thought my Ipod was recording for longer then it was. Kierra told Jordan that she thought he had a lovely sweater on, which he did, and he was like "well that's a first" haha
